Chaos But Worth It!!

Wow! Mason turned 5 in October. I have to say that it makes me feel old to have a 5 year old but I know I am not that old yet. We threw him a friend birthday party he invited 4 boys and 3 girls. I was really suprised that everyone came except for one of his friends. We got him a dragon pinata, which he was so excited to have it all filled with candy and toys and all the kids had a blast hitting it. He wanted to have a How to train your dragon birthday party but since it was at the last minute I was only able to go to walmart for his party stuff. I was really shocked to find that walmart didn't have any party stuff with How to train your dragon on it. But oh well. He picked out Toy Story 3 stuff instead. We ended up getting party favors for all the kids that came. Which was a really big hit. Since he had invited girls to his birthday party I got disney princess favors for all the girls so that they didn't have to have the toy story 3 stuff. The girls loved that idea so I was so glad that I didn't since I was debating on not doing it.
Mason loved all the gifts that he got and really thought it was cool to have that many kids over to play with. All I have to say is that I am so so glad that birthdays are only 1 time a year. :) It was a lot of work but I was glad that I did it cause the look on Mason's face was priceless and he was so happy for his birthday this year that I think he will remember his 5th birthday well. Here are some pictures of his special day! Enjoy!

All of Mason's friends that came and of course his little brother (Aiden)

He is such a silly boy.

If you know Mason this is just classic Mason pulling faces in pictures.
I think he was pretending to be a Dragon in this picture.

He is so proud of that Dragon.

Mason wanted cupcakes instead of a cake this year.
It's hard to read it but it says "Happy Birthday"
