Family Pictures- April 2013

We went up to Idaho to get my side of the family's pictures taken. We really needed to get a nice one done and I really like how they turned out.

Feb 2013

February we celebrated Aiden's 5th birthday. Jon and I decorated the house with birthday stuff, decorated his bedroom door so that when he woke up in the morning he would have to break through the streamers. We also blew up balloons and put them all down the stairs and into the front room. Aiden also wanted a rock star cake. So I made a guitar cake, it turned out really good until I added on the guitar strings with frosting. Then the cake just looked weird. Aiden thought that it was great so it didn't matter what I thought of the cake. :)

 

January 2013

In January, the boys and I went to Idaho for a week. We went up for my mom's birthday. We ate, played games and the boys got to play with their cousins. There not many pictures but I did manage to get these ones.

 

Mason is very creative. He made all of these out of tinker toys at my mom's house.

Mason's Birthday and Halloween 2012

Mason turned 7!! We didn't do a party for him but we took him to dinner and a movie. Which he thought was so cool. We ate at red lobster (he loves eating there) and we watched Hotel Transylvania. We made him a cake to have after the movie, which was a batman cake. We also moved Mason into his own room which he was super happy about that he didn't have to share with younger brothers anymore.

Catch up for: September 2012

 

Jasper's 1st Birthday!

 

Sadly this is the only picture that I have from Jasper's 1st birthday party. We just had family come over and play games, eat cake and ice cream. Poor guy also had a pink birthday cake cause of me. I wanted the kind of cake different instead of having it the same at every single birthday so I made a chocolate cake or maybe it was wacky cake (I can't remember) and the frosting was either cream cheese or vanilla with cherry extract in it. It was really good. How sad that I have already forgotten, I guess that's what I get for waiting for a whole year before I post anything new on here. Haha!!

 

We went on our first family camping trip. It was really fun and very last minute discussion. It was also not very far from where we live either. We went to Utah lake, which is only a couple of miles away from where we live. LOL!! But it was our first one so you should understand. We only stayed for one night but we still had a lot of fun. Enjoy the pics.

 



 



Jon and I also went to Kentucky for his National Techna Glass Competition. He competed with other auto glass companies nation wide. Everyday was all ready planned for us since we went with his work. Our days were filled with watching everyone compete, dinners, going to other companies booths, award ceremonies, more dinners, walking around, fitting 12 people in a 8 person van plus everyone's baggage and flying back home. Jon won first place for the rock chip repair just with Techna Glass companies through out Utah. Since he won first place he got a $500 check, which went to pay for me to go with him to Nationals. Jon competed in the rock chip repair at Nationals. Jon and I had fun together. It was nice to have a little trip away from our kids and we really enjoyed it and want to do other trip but minus going with his work. Sadly, Jon didn't place into the finals to win any money. :( By the way Jon had a perfect rock chip repair!!! I am so proud of him!!
